(From Our Own Correspondent.) The annual meeting of the Methodist Ladies’ Guild was presided over by Mrs. Scheldt, and there was a good number of members present. A new member, Mrs. Church, was welcomed. Arrangements were made for the Sunday School Anniversary tea and also for the annual clean of the church and Sunday School room. Next month’s competitions will be single bloom and cluster and a bowl of flowers, berries and foliage for effect. The hostesses will be Mesdames Kirby and Harris. Tiie election of officers resulted in Mrs. Scheldt being re-elected president; Mesdames Gunn and Dittmer, vice-presi-dents; Mrs. M. Harris, secretary; Mrs. Smith, treasurer. Mrs. Scheldt will act as Guild representative and Missionary secretary. A vote of thanks was accorded tli© retiring secretary, Mrs. Williamson, who did not seek re-election and the retiring vice-presidents. The monthly competitions resulted:—Shortbread: Mrs. Wood 1, Mrs. Harris 2, Mrs. Dittmer 3; single bloom: Mrs. Williamson 1, Mrs. Pascoe 2, Mrs. Harris 3; cluster: Mrs. Wood 1, Mrs. Pascoe 2, Mrs. Harris 3. An enjoyable time was spent by those who attended the Social Afternoon conducted by the Anglican Ladies’ Guild. Cards were played and Mrs. Beagley l proved the winner, while Mrs. Cochrane won a competition. Mesdames Martini and Ranson were the hostesses. There was a good attendance of mem-, ;bers of the Bunnytliorpe Nursing Division oil Saturday when Mr. Wilson, District Supervisor and Mr. Ashcroft, District Secretary, visited the Division and gave practical demonstrations of fractures.
