Members Reappointed To Legislative Council

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Mar. 9. The following members of the Legislative Council whose terms expired at midnight last night have been reappointed for a term of seven years: Hons. J. Cotter, F. E. Lark, B. Martin, B. C. Robbins (Auckland), M. Briggs (Palmerston North), T. Brindle (Wellington), R. Moffatt (Palmerston Nth.), Sir Charles Statham (Wellington), G. R. Hunter, J. A. McCullough (Canterbury), M. Connelly (Otago), and T. F. Doyle (Southland). A new appointment is that of Mr. T. O. Bishop (Wellington), formerly secretary of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation and at present secretary of the New Zealand Coal Mine Owners’ Association.
