Melody Dances

There was a very good attendance at the week-end Melody dances held in the Garrison Dance Hall under the management of Winifred Hubbard. The music was supplied by a professional orchestra and an extra was played by L/Cpl. H. Spencer. The Monte Carlos were won by Miss Smith and Mr. Redwood, Miss G. Carlson and Pte. Bremer (U.S.A.), Mr. and Mrs. Watson, and Miss Priestly and Pte. Cross; Gay Gordons, Miss McGuire and Mr. Larkin and Miss N. Cooper and Mr. Allan. The duties of M.C. were car-

ried out by Mr. It. Andrew. The next Melody dance will be held to-night and further details appear elsewhere in this issue.
