Nuremberg Again Heavily Blitzed

Received Wednesday, 1 a.m. LONDON, Mar. 9. R.A.F. ‘bombers were again over Germany in strength last night, the chief objective being Nuremberg, one of the greatest industrial centres in Southern Germany and an important railway centre. The Germans admit that big fires 'were started. Seven bombers are missing. Nuremberg is the headquarters of the Nazi Party and was last attacked a fortnight ago when a heavy raid was concentrated into twenty minutes.

"I can’t understand why you’ve passed me fit, doctor,” said the recruit. ‘l’ve got one leg shorter than the other.” The medical officer smiled. “Don’t you worry, my boy,” he replied. “It won’t be a handicap at all. You see, the ground’s liable to be very uneven over there.”
