Fatal Injuries in 200-feet Car Plunge
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Mar. S. Plunging 2UO feet in his car from a on the Onslow Road to the Hutt Road below a naval petty officer received multiple injuries this afternoon and died on his way to the Wellington hospital. lie was Petty Officer Maxwell Richardson Barlow, of 15 Cockayne Road, Khandallah. He was alone in the car which apparently failed to take the bend. Car Hits Lorry When a car ran into the back of a lorry iu Church Street, Palmerston North, yesterday, a girl in the car was cut by flying glass. It is said the lorry driver pulled up suddenly giving the car driver, who was following, no time to avoid the smash.
