Received Friday, 10 p.m. CANBERRA. Mar. 5. A Tux Bill providing for the raising of £4O,OUU,OOU from new income taxation on April 1, and making Australian incomes the most heavily taxed in the British Empire, was passed by the House of Representatives shortly before 5.30 this morning. The Senate will consider the new taxes next week. An amendment moved by Mr. Fadden, tnat the Bill be redrafted, was earlier defeated by 29 votes to 26.
