Eels and Trout
The controversy among fishermen whether eels prey upon trout was recalled when an Eltham fisherman recently gaffed an eel with the head of a 31b. trout protruding from its mouth. The trout, apparently, was in the process of being gulped down by the eel when the latter was caught.
