Argentine’s First War Casualty

Received Wednesday, 7.30 p.m. BUENOS AIRES, April 21. The Argentine Government announced that a torpedo or mine damaged the tanker Victoria, inflicting the first Argentina casualty since the United States entered the war. The Argentine Government said the Victoria was proceeding to New York under difficult conditions because of the serious damage.
