Generous Bequests Generous bequests totalling £250/ to religious and charitalbe institutions are provided for in the will of Mr. William Walker, farmer, of Dipton, Gouthland, who died recently. The residue of the estate which may amount to several thousands of pounds is to go to the New Zealand Institute for the Blind, Auckland. Probate has just been granted by Mr. Justice Kennedy, and the value of the estate is sworn at under £31,000. Private bequests total £II,OOO, and after £2500 had been paid to religious and charitable institutions the residue will be paid to the Blind ! Institute. The death duties will be substantial but if the property can be disposed of at near valuation the residue should be a, fairly largo amount,
