LONDON, April 20. The Luftwaffe lost 1000 planes on the Eastern Front during March and 500 planes during the first two weeks of April, according to a broadcast from the Moscow radio to-night. A Russian communique states that SI German planes were destroyed on Sunday for the loss of 13 Russian. Between April 5 and 11, the Germans lost 112 planes and the Russians 33. With the summer weather in Russia, the Germans are again making mass attacks with up to 50 aircraft swooping on one objective, and are using more planes than at any time during the last four months.
