Britain’s War Budget
(British Official Wireless.) Received Wednesday, 9.30 p.m. RUGBY, Feb. 3. For the first ten months of the financial year Britain's revenue was £565,666,000 as compared with £530,041,000 in the same period last year. Excess profits tax and national defence contributions produced over £221,000,000,000 already, more than the estimate for the whole year. The expenditure reached £3,898,832,194 as compared with £3,107,424,839 in the previous jear.
