PERSONAL

Advice has been received Dj Mr. and Mrs. W. Edwards, of 602 Church street, that their son, Sergt. Thomas (Tommy) Edwards died of wounds on November 26. Sergt. Edwards was a member of the Third Echelon and was attached to the signallers’ branch. Ho was educated at the Terrace End School and was a member of the staff of the Post and Telegraph Department, latterly residing at Lower Hutt. He leaves a -wife and two children who aro at present residing in Hastings.
