If Germany Loses War ?

Article Causes Sensation in Berlin “HOW IS IT GOING TO END?" WAILS GOEBBELB Received Saturday, 1.46 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 7. Dr. Goebbels, in an article in Das Reich which has caused a sensation in Berlin, says: “The question of how the war is going to end is more important to-day than the question of when.

“Only if Germany accomplishes final victory will it be possible to gain everything—raw material, foodstuffs, etc. But in the event of Germany losing the war more than everything will be lost.’ *

Stalin, in a brief speech at the Red Army parade, said: “The Germans are faced with catastrophe. The German people cannot see the end of the war and are straining to their last effort. The Germans cannot hold out against such pressure. Our will to win is as great now as it was eighteen years ago. Death to the German invaders!"

The German press describes Moscow’s defen | line as being as strong as the Maginot Line. In addition it is fortified with flame-throwers of a size hitherto unknown and automatically served.
