Betty Thompson, third in Highland fling (12 and under 14), first in sword dance (12 and under 14), third in hornpipe (eight years and under), second in seantriubhas (12 and under 14). Yvonne Nicholson, second in Highland fling, first in Irish jig, second in seantriubhas, first in Highland reel (all 14 years and under 16), and first in reel o’ Tulloch. Miss June Scott, of Palmerston North, acted as judge.
