Miniature Rifle Shield Lost in Air Raid
Received Wednesdey, ]2.5 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 2. The Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs has informed the New Zealand High Commissioner (Mr. W. .1. Jordan) that it lost the New Zealand Government challenge shield when the society ’» headquarters were recent!v destroved by enemy action. The shield had been used for the nnnual competitoii at one of the society’s open prize meetings at #jsley or the provinces.
