Successiul Year. { At a meeting of the executive of the !Dannevirke Young Women’s Auxiliary | the secretary (Mrs. C. Hansard) in rejviewing the year’s activities, reported j t hat the auxiliary had raised £lO2 3s : 3Od by various means for patriotic purposes. The total membership stood at 353. Appreciative Gesture. At a meeting of the general committee of the Dannevirke Hunt tlio 3laster, j Mr. H. G. Hobson, referred to the good fortune of tho Hunt in having the Woodville course placed at its disposal. It was resolved that as some recognition the Hunt donate a £25 cup for (competition at the Woodville Club’s (meeting. In tho past any member of the Woodville Club had been entitled to full privilege tickets on race day on request. In future, however, tickets are
to be sent to all members of both club?. A bonus of £lO was also passed in favour of the Woodville Jockey Club's caretaker.
