CANBERRA, Sept. 1
An Australian military mission headed by the Minister of the Army (Mr. P. G. Spender) is going to Malaya to make a firsthand investigation of the conditions whereunder the Australian force* are living and also to discuss troop dispositions and strategy in land defence at Singapore.
