Puppet Governor’s Bodyguard Killed
Received Tuesdav, 1 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 18. The British Press correspondent at Shanghai is reliably informed that three of Wang Chiang-wei’s bodyguard were shot dead and a fourth wounded on Saturday at Wang’s home at Nanking. It is reported that Japanese who ■doubted Wang’s trustworthiness inspired the attack which is not confirmed by the Japanese authorities.
