Three Gainsborough Masterpieces Stolen
Received Wednesdav, 9.20 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 12. An insurance company reports that three Gainsboroughs, “The Blue Boy," “Charles the Bold" and a landscape, insured for 44,000 dollars, have been stolen from the apartment of Captain Daniel Sickles, tho financier. One painting was cut from the frame and the others were taken frames and all.
