“ Stand Up to Foe ”
BANGKOK RADIO APPEAL LONDON, Aug. 11. Bangkok radio appealed to Thailanders to-day to stand up to possible invaders, saying: “Though your independence may be lost, your honour will remain. ’ ’ The announcer urged the people to use every means to kiill an enemy, even gas, if that was justified, and also advocated a “scorched earth” policy.
