Pohangina

(From our own Correspondent.) The Patriotic dance and euchre on Thursday was only fairly attended. Mr. Paul was M.C. and he thanked Mr. F. Ivlink and Mr. Bockett for donating gifts to be raffled. Mr. Bockett’s gilt wa.s won by Mr. L. Foot. The wheelbarrow given by Mr. F. Ivlink will be drawn later on. Miss I. Roberts and partner won the Monte Carlo dance, Mrs. Brill and partner the Gay Gordons. Mfs. Britt and Mr. C. Gauvin won the euchre prize. Supper was supplied by the ladies. The Social Committee of the Pohangina Hall has contributed £35 to the War Loan. Pte. T. Harland, from Trentham Camp, has been spending the week-end with his father. Mrs. N. Moar is confined to bed with sickness. A speedy recovery is the ■wish of all her friends.
