Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 6,

The New York Sun’s financial editor says shouting by Washington officials on the prospect of inflation and the sharp spur given by embargoes on silk is in all truth kindling inflation.

It is reported that the phenomenal rush to all store counters for silk stockings is now' spreading to other goods.
