Obituary

FLORENCE LUCY CORRIGAN Old residents of Palmerston North will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Florence Lucy Corrigan (formerly the wife of the late Richard Leary, founder of Leary'’s Pharmacies, Palmerston Nortn). Mrs. Corrigan went to stay with her only child of the second marriage, Mrs. Lascelles Verbi, in Kenya, South Africa, and according to a cablegram received, she died painlessly as the result of an accident. Mrs. Corrigan had four sons in her former marriage, two of whom died very young, while Ernest Richard Leary fell in tho battle of the Somme in 3 916. The only- living son is Mr. Lenard P. Leary, of Auckland. Upon tho death of her first husband, Mrs. Leary lived in Featherston Street, but later married Dominic Harewood Lascelles Corrigan, and went to live in Auckland, and after his retirement, at Tauranga.
