Hitler Overthrown by Next December

PROPHECY OP A.D. 657 The highways and sidelines of World War 2 are littered with the bare bones of dead prophecies, writes Clarence Reed in his book, “Great Prophecies About the War.” All along the way the seers and the guessers have been confounded; every turn in the tide of events has put paid to some pet theory or prophecy. But still the prophets come, and there are plenty of long shots still awaiting vindication or the discard.

Take the case of St. Odilc, patron saint of Alsace. Away back in A.D. 657 a blind child was given by her parents to some nuns Who reared her in the odour of sanctity. Years later she was miraculously cured of her blindness by a bishop of Ratisbon, who renamed her Odile—a daughter of the Light. She became an abbess and disclosed a gift of second sight. After her death a remarkable prophecy written by St. Odile was discovered, and its contents became legendary during the Middle Ages. In 1916 the prophecy was published in Paris, and as Cardinal Newman already knew of it there was no question of forgery. Among other things this is what St. Odile said:

“The time will come when Germany shall be called the most bellicose nation upon the earth . . . from her bosom, shall rise the terrible warrior who shall undertake a world war, and who the people in arms shall call the AntiChrist . . . The conqueror will start from the Danube (Hitler did) . . . The war he will undertake will be the most frightful mankind has ever suffered.

He will win victories on land, by sea, and even in the air, for his warriors will be seen winged in unimaginablo career, riding up into the firmament to catch the stars in order to hurl them down on towns and ignite great fires . . The war will be very long, and the conqueror will have reached the height of his triumphs about the middle of the six months of the second year of hostilities . . .

*' ‘ This will be the end of the period of bloody victories . . . But his enemies will not submit by any means. The second part of the war will equal in length half the first; it will be known as the period of decline . . . The third period will be the shortest duration, and the victor will have no more confidence in his armies. This will be called the period of invasion, because the country of the conqueror will bo in,vaded in all directions and laid waste in righteous retribution, for his acts of injustice and irreligion.”

Clarence Reed, who annotates this prophecy and many others, deduces that March 1941, is the turning point, according to St. Odline, and that the overthrow of Hitler will be accomplished in December 1941. Mr. Reed has collected and given continuity to some of the most famous prophecies of history, including those of Nostradamus, “the man who was never wrong.”
