Robin Moor’s Survivors Reach Capetown
CAPETOWN, June 10. The 35 missing passengers and members of the crew of the American ship Robin Moor, which was torpedoed by a German submarine last month, have arrived in a British steamer. They spent 13 days in three lifeboats. Captain Meyers said he had no faith in the submarine commander ’s promise to send rescue ships, therefore lie advised the lifeboats to leave the scene of the sinking. Chief-Officer Munday was given Ger-man-marked bandages from the submarine. American officials state that those rescued confirmed that the submarine was German. None of the survivors was seriously injured.
