Six Big American Liners Handed Over

Received Tuesday, 1.10 a.m. SINGAPORE, June 16. The American. President Line announces that the following six President liners at present in the Pacific service are being handed over <to the United States Maritime Commission after completion of their current voyages: President Taft, President Cleveland, President Coolidge, President Pierce, President Jackson and President Hayes (all in the vicinity of 20,000 tons). It is understood the withdrawal will not interfere with rubber and tin shipments to America.
