British Town Bombed
LONDON, May 23. Diving from the clouds, a bomber made a surprise attack on a south-east coast town in England this morning. Buildings were rocked as a stick of heavy bombs exploded. Anti-aircraft batteries went into action, but the raider was apparently not hit and flew towards the French coast.
