Auckland Win Beth ’Varsity Hockey Titles
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 23. The Auckland A team won the Seddon stick in the men’s section of the University hockey tourney. In the ladies’ section the Auckland A team was also successful, winning the Reeves stick. Results: — Men’s section: Auckland A 5, Canterbury 2; Massey College 4, Victoria 4; Otago 6, Auckland B 0; Auckland A 4, Auckland B 2; Otago 12, Massey College 1; Canterbury 2, Victoria 2. Ladies’ section: Auckland 13, Otago 0; Canterbury 5, Auckland B 0.
