Striking Progress of Air Training Corps

(British Official Wireless.) Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m. RUGBY, May 21. Striking progress of the Air Training Corps was announced by the Air Secretary in. the House of Commons. Since the formation of the corps on February 1 f?;. ~<>hn Sinclair said, 1300 units had been formed, having a total strengui of about 170,000 cadets. Some 4400 candidates for commissions had been accepted by selection boards for service with the corps.' Oven 700 units had been affiliated to R.A.F. stations and training was proceeding at all the units.
