Gladstone Stud Dispersal Sale
TIMARU, May 22. The dispersal sale of the Gladstone Park Stud at Orari attracted a large attendance from all parts oi : tho Dominion. The imported stallion Battle Bong realised 3600 guineas, the buyer' being Air. Ken Austin, of Rangiora.! Afolten with a foal by Man's Pal and in foal to Battle Bong was knocked down at 400 guineas to Air. J. 11. Mitchell, Longburn. Alonoxile with a foal by Man's Pal and in foal to Battle Bong went for 200 guineas to Alisa Edgar Jones, Geraldine. An unnamed mare by Lord Warden —Palestine with a foal by Aran’s Pal in foal to Batllo Song was bought for 325 guineas by Air. E. D. Williams, Tc Awamutu. Vcnnachcr with a foal by Alan’s Pal and in foal to Battle Song went for 240 guineas to AH. J. Nash, Whangarei. A yearling filly by Seigfred—Princess Pat was bought for 2-60 guineas by Aliss Edgar Jones.
