Returned Soldiers’ Badge

An instruction frbm headquarters of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association explains that it is not generally known that the familiar R.S.A. badge is not the property of the wearer but is issued for use so long as he remains financial. These badges now bear a date representing the financial year, an adopted from the Australian association. The first date attachment issued to members was coloured red and was for the year ended March 31 last. The current date attachment is coloured blue, and a different coloured attachment will be issued each year. Headquarters advises that in future no badges should bo worn without the date attachment.
