That future requires to be developed with a long view on sound lines, without haste, and with all Councillors working in harmony towards the one end of giving all sections of the community an evironment in which it is a pleasure to live and work. Big questions will have to be considered and decided during the nest few years, and they will need vigour, courage and well balanced judgment in the Councillors who are elected to make those decisions and who are responsible for the continued good management of the city.
