Queensland Sugar For New Zealand
Per Presa Association. WELLINGTON, Alay 14. Hon. W. Nash announced to-night that an agreement had been reached between the Queensland and New Zealand Governments for a Dominion supply of sugar for the current year. The agreement meant that the arrangements which had been in force since New Zealand entered the empire purchasing scheme early last year would be continued. Shipping tonnage required to convey the sugar from Queensland t.o New*Zealand would be made available by the. Commonwealth, authorities.
