BEAVERBROOK’S NEW ROLE

The Prime Minister, Mr Churchill, stated in the House of Commons to-day Miat Lord Beaverbrook, who was recently appointed Minister of State, would discharge th e special Cabinet duties assigned to a member of the Defence Committee of the War Cabinet. Lord Beaverbrook would also act as a referee on priority questions.
