Defeated Premier Tenders Resignation
Received Tuesday, 11.35 p.m. SYDNEY, May 13. Mr. Mair to-day tendered the resignation. of the New South Wales Government and Mr. McKell later saw the Governor (Lord Wakehurst) and intimated that he would be able to announce the names of the new Labour Ministry possibly next Monday. No marked change has occurred in the election position as a result of today's checking of the polling figures,
