Members of the Manawatu AuxiliaryService Corps gave practical help to residents in the flooded areas at Hoko* whitu by taking a quantity of vegetables, grown on their own plot, to a j central ->oint where those in need could help themselves to as much as they required last Saturday. The vegetables included 10 sacks of carrots, and more were distributed on Monday,
