Pretty Wedding Celebrated at Woodville
HARTSTONE —FALCONER Holy Trinity’Church, Woodville, was the scene of a pretty wedding of considerable interest on April 23 when Sylvia, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Falconer, and grand-daughter of Mr. aud the late Mrs. W. Hull, Palmerston North, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Falconer, W'angaehu, TJastcrton, was married to Ken Bradford, elder son of Mr. and the late Mrs. G. Hartstone, Woodville. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a grey tailored costume with white georgette and laco blouse, grey hat 'with blue veil* and flower, also grey shoes and gloves. She carried an ivory-bound prayer book, the gift of her mother. Mrs. W. R. Romley was matron-of-honour and looked smart in a teal blue suit, with hat to tone. She carried a navy handbag, and wore navy gloves and shoes. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. W. R. Romley. The church was daintily decorated with Easter daisies and chrysanthemums by friends of the bride. Mrs. Falconer, mother of the bride, wore a blue ensemble with navy accessories. The reception, attended by intimate friends and relations, took place at the Women’s Institute Hall. Many valuable presents were received, also a large number of cheques, testifying to the esteem in which the young couple are held. When the brido appeared for travelling she also wore a beautiful fur, the gift of her father, and carried a swagger coat. The future home of Mr. and Mrs- K. Hartstone will be at Oxford Road, Woodville.
