Feilding Primary Schools
AMATEUR ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION The committee of the Feilding Primary Schools’ Amateur Athletic Association met on Tuesday evening, Mr. W. H. Smith (president) presiding over a good attendance. Mr. C. V. Jewell (secretary) reporting on the annual sports, stated that the total receipts amounted to £6l and expenses £56, leaving a <iiedit balance of £4 17s 4d. The expenses, it was explained, included provision for the payout to schools. The president said that the association could congratulate itself on the success of the schools’ sports, remarking that as usual tho organisation Avorked without a hitch. He paiuh a tribute to the Avork of the secretary and expressed thanks to all Avbo had contributed towards the success of the gathering. •It Avas agreed to make the payout to competing schools on the basis of 3d per point secured by pupils in the various ev’ents. Consideration was given to several matters relating to the programme and these Avill go forward as recommendations for consideration at the next general meeting.
