(From Our Own Correspondent.) Despite unfavourable weather there was a good attendance of visitors and members at the opening of the Halcombe Golf House held over the weekend. A Canadian foursome was played, the winners being Miss O. Fergusson and Mr. K. Anderson, and the runnersup wore Miss P. Fergusson and Mr. G. Judd. A separate competition played by the men was won by Mr G. BevaD, who returned a gross 39 for nine holes. Mr. T. Waldin was runner-up. The men’s golf club will play a. medal round over the week-end and the draw is as follows:—G. Bevan and A. E. Boswell, N. J. Anderson and W. Christian, L. Anderson and J. Coulson, E. «J.
