(From Our Own Correspondent. - ) The Apiti Home Guard paraded in good strength on Saturday morning and later left for Feilding to attond the Battalion Parade there. Before leaving Apiti in convoy, tea was served at the hall by willing helpers, a carge being made to help the swimming bath funds. Mrs. A. W. Viles and family are spending tho school holidays in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. N. Cockburn and family, of Hamiltou, and Mr. R. Cockburn, of Wellington, are visiting their parents at Marton Block. Rev. A. Baxter has returned from Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. K. R. Lambie are holidaying in Palmerston North. Pte. G. Doughty is on leave from Trentkam and visiting his people, Mr. and Mrs. G. Buckumn are Feilding visitors staying with their son, Mr. D. C. Buckman.
