Rangiwahia
(From Our Own Correspondent.) The record of a series of card evenings was held in the Ruahine Hall last Saturday evening. There Was a nice gathering present and some very close games were witnessed. The usual dance followed to music supplied by Miss M. Thompson, with extras by Messrs. A. McMullan and H. Jacob. There were play offs for the prizes, these being:— Ladies, Mrs. A. Reilly and Mrs. C. Hall, the later proving the winner; consolation, Miss) D. Hall and Miss M. Thompson, Miss Hall boing the winner; men, Mr. M. Hall I, consolation, Mr. D. Wood. Sapper was served by the ladies’ committee. The next card evening will be held on Monday, May 19.
