Brief German Shelling of Dover
Received Thursday, 8 p.m. LONDON, May 8.
The German guns on the French coast opened a brief but vicious attack on Dover. Four gun salvoes killed two women who were in the street talking when a shell burst nearby and also seriously injured 14.
