Obituary

MRS. MARY JOAN NELSON The death occurred on Saturday at the residence of her daughter, Whitaker I Street, of an old and esteemed resident lof Foxton, Mrs. Mary Joan Nelson. The late Mrs. Nelson had spent very many years of her life in Foxton. She was predeceased by her husband 20 yars ago. ’ She was aged SO years and leaves a family of two sons and five daughters, 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grand-chilaren. An only brother died in Shomakin, U.S.A., two months ago, at the age of 80. The funeral took place at Foxton on Sunday and the services were conducted by Rev. C. A. Foston. The pallbearers were Messrs. S. E. Cowly, J. Procter, J. Ross, W. Barrat, D. Aiden and J. McLaughlan.
