Feilding Branch S.P.C.A.

MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Feilding branch, of the fc!.P.C.A. was recently held in the Community Centre, the vicepresident, Mrs. Coleman, presiding. Those present were Mesdames Brandt and Telfer, Miss K. M. AVright and Messrs T. Collins, Hill and IV C. Lee. An apology was received from Mrs. Morphy. Thanks wer extended to Mr. W. iS. Carthew who expressed -willingness to. collect subscriptions at his shop. It was decided to write a letter of thanks to Mrs. W. J. AJpe for her help to the society during her association with it, while a votq of sympathy was passed with Miss Sinclair who had suffered bereavement. Correspondence from the Feildiug branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union was received to the effect that the branch found it impossible to assist the society in the erection of a drinking trough on Sandon Road.
