Bight throughout New Zealand there are hundreds of skeins of wool ... tucked away in the corner of ]| some drawer ... at the bottom of a work basket ... or just in the knitting bag. Left over skeins, that are of little use to the present owners, yet may be just what is wanted by some other knitter. The P.D.C. “Wool Exchange’* will accept any skeins of wool (except Bouclet Yarns) and give in exchange skeins of wool or other goods from any department, to the value of the wool sent in, less 10 per cent commission. This is an opportunity to help yourselves and others to continue the Patriotic Knitting on behalf of soldiers. t -i - ■ • Here are the simple straight-forward details of the Wool Exchange plan: (1) Any odd skeins of plain or flecked wool accepted. (2) All skeins must be full standard weight and if possible bar# original ticket attached. (3) A Credit for the value of the wool based on present price list less 10 per cent, discount, will be issued to the customer. (4) This credit may be used to purchase other goods from an j department in the store, or to secure other wool. - (5) When posting in wool, make certain that your full name an<l address are attached, together with a description of the wool* (6) State your requirements in other goods or wool. (7) Customers requiring odd skeins of wool are invited to send im their names and addresses together with their requirement*.
