Bequests to Catholic Institutions
WANGANUI, Iff ay 5. The following charitable bequest* have been made in the will of the lato Mr. William McTubbs, of Wanganui, to Catholic Church institutions: £SOO to Bt. Mary’s Church, Wanganui; £IOOO to the Sisters of St. Joseph Sacred Heart Convent, Wanganui; £SOO to the Sisters of Compassion, Wanganui; £SOO to the Mt. Magdala Home, Christchurch; £IOO to the Franciscan Convent, Ns&mbya, Uganda, British East Africa; £IOOO to the Marist Fathers’ Seminary, Hawke's Bay. The residue of tho estate, after providing for further legacies of a private nature totalling £I6OO and certain life interests, is held upon trust for the Sisters of St. Joseph for the Hat*red Heart Convent, Wanganui. The estate was sworn at under £11,500.
