Borough Council Election
The nominations for the eleeUon o J mayor and councillors closed at noon yesterday. The present Mayor is Mr. IS. K. Siddells, and his was the only nomination for the mayoralty. The sitting councillors have all been nominated, while four other citizens have allowed their names to go forward. Mayor: Stanley Keith Liddells, nominated by G. H. Hood and W. D. C. Crewe. Councillors: William Thomas Brown, nominated by S. K. Siddells and 8. J Judd. William Alan Carthew, nominated by Russ Merrie, P. J. C. Lloyd, A. W. White, P. Matthews, A. H. Gowler, A. S. Madsen, A. G. Hogg. Haslam Andrew Gardner, nominated by J. C. Davidson and F. F. Barraclough. Joseph William Greaves, nominated bv 8. K. BiddelLs, L. T. Herbert, J. L. Terry, B. H. Wills, R. Davcy, A. G. Hogg.
