Winds: Turning to moderate northwesterlies in the far south; elsewhere moderate easterly to north-easterly predominating and freshening at times in exposed positions. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough at times north of Castlepoint; elsewhere slight to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to fresh north-easterly to northerly winds; moderate seas. Weather: Fair in south Westland and Southland and later in Otago and soutli Canterbury; otherwise cloudy to overcast with widespread mist or fog and with scattered drizzle, more especially in districts with an easterly aspect. Temperatures: Moderate. * YESTERDAY’S TEMPERATURES Maximum 63 degrees F. Minimum 55 degrees F.
