High-water Mark of the Year
The following paragraph was taken from the New York -World Telegram’s review on Walter Wanger’s latest picture, “The Long Voyage Home.” “One of the most beautiful and Stirling films I have ever seen. Indeed, it is so moving, so understanding, so searehingly humorous, and so superbly played, that it may be well the highwater mark of the year. Never has John Ford dono a finer piece of direction, and he has given us compositional shots which are breath-taking in their beauty.”
