R.A.F. Raids Compel Nazi Evacuation Measures

(Rec. 3. 12.55) LONDON, Apr. 2. The smashing R.A.F. raids have compelled the Germans to evacuate 35,000 children from the Ruhr. Czechoslovakian representatives in London have learned that Berlin has ordered the Slovaks to accommodate the children in Bratislava. The devastating effect of the raids on the Ruhr made the feeding of the children a grave problem. The Germans have already taken a great part of Slovakia’s foodstuffs.
